The Girls

The top pictures shows Gracie giving me the "stink eye".

The bottom picture is of Bea.

In the evenings after work, Bea and Gracie like to walk around in the backyard.
This is Bea with her little face next to that of the Savannah girl statue.

MOB (Mom of Bulldogs)

I am the proud and sometimes embarassed mother of two English Bulldogs. They are littermate sisters named Graciela and Beatrix. Graciela is named after my babysitter, Grace, who passed away a few years ago. Beatrix is named after Beatrix Potter. In the Beatrix Potter stories, one of the characters always ended up missing something. In my Beatrix's case, Beatrix was born with one eye that did not develop and the other eye did not develop properly. Beatrix is completely blind.
